The possibilities for excursions are many in Flora. You can experience everything from mountain walks on the island, footpaths in the centre of Florø, steep mountainsides alongside the fjord, to tours on the Ålfot Glacier. We recommend the trip from Grøndalen to the Ålfot Glacier, or trips, which takes you from cottage to cottage in the mountain area around Grøndalen.
Every day the local express boats goes to the islands. As a tourist it is an experience to go on these routes. Many of the islands have stopping places, and you can choose to leave the boat at the island Kinn to visit the Kinn Church or at the magnificent green island Svanøy to experience the Svanøy Manor or the Norwegian Deer Centre.
